Hi Everyone
A huge well done to Melissa and Dean who went to Bath champ show with their Weimaraners. Their lovely girl in limit class was first place, Bitch CC winner and Best of Breed. This girl is not bred by us, but is through selective breeding Melissa has done. We were so pleased for them as they brought off us years ago Silvestre Last Tango with Silberliss, through this girl they have bred their own bloodline and which produced the lovely winner at the weekend. So we are thrilled for them, to be some small part in what they started with. . I forgot to post that Evie also achieved her Veteran warrant title in the UK this year which is an achievement. So big well done. Evie has done you proud. We do not have any direct show news from our own breeding as we didnt go to the show. The distance is a horrible drive from Norfolk on a bank holiday weekend. We have taken chance to clean up the patio area, do some gardening and visit a garden centre. After being away in Wales just a week ago. Check our instagram page for photos ive taken on our trip away. A much well needed rest. I shall endeavour to add new photos to our dogs pages which I have taken recently. I need a good session. But I am also having to update a lot of paper work for our licensing team.

I often see adverts online which state the parents are fully health tested. When in fact they are not fully health tested. Some people go to their own vet who gives the dog a quick once over and they then claim its fully health tested when its not. We have X-rays, DNA testing, Eye testing etc which can be done.
The French bulldog requires very few health tests but their are more available which should be done. BOAS, Patella, French bulldog health scheme, bronze and silver minimum. Hereditary Cateracts DNA, BVA Eye testing, Heart checked, Any other DNA is a bonus. Hungarian Vizsla - Hips, Elbows, Glaucoma, BVA annual eye test. Minimum. But there are more tests than this available. HUU, CA, ECLE, DM. Bracco Italiano. - Did you know no health tests are required by the KC. ? But you can do hips, elbows, eye testing, kidney testing. Ask to see the results on paper and do not assume if an advert says fully tested because it may just mean the dog saw a vet once for a health test, and it was not actually proper health testing. So check and don't assume. Our babies have been a total pleasure to have around. We shall miss them greatly and we wish all the owners a wonderful time with their new babies.
Our next Bracco litter will be 2024. When Vespa will be 2 years of age and we can breed her. If you wish for a puppy any sooner there are two litters I know of which will have superb babies. If you contact me I can give you their owners details. National Championship show -
Silvestre Destiny is a beast - Vespa was 5th place in Junior Bitch. Bracco Society championship show - Very proud that Silvestre Golden Dragon (Lucca) was in Junior dog and was second place which qualified him for Crufts 2024. Very pleased for owners and thank you for letting us handle him. He is a pleasure to show. Now looking forward to the next shows we have booked. We celebrate this weekend King Charles III who takes up reign of King from his late mother Queen Elizabeth. We hope he has a prosperous, healthy reign showing wisdom and guidance to many during his time on the throne. In the UK it's a big deal and celebrations start tomorrow on Saturday.
Watch Instagram this weekend for our photos to do with the coronation. We attended Welks championship show Sunday and it was lovely to see Silvestre's Hot Stuff being shown and in puppy class was 4th place. She's a superb puppy.
Also watch grand children, great grand children of our Vizsla blood line being shown and doing well. We had two good results ourselves. Vespa the Bracco Italiano won her class and has qualified for Crufts 2024. Also Geralt was 5th place in his class and we had a lovely day out. Looking forward to the next one now. |
