Brooklyn is now grown up and a loving wonderful girl. She is quiet and unassuming for a Vizsla. and I dont know I have her. She fits in with the household so well that I sometimes forget she's out and sleeping on the sofa. She is so gentle, and so much like her older sister Rogue. They are like two peas in a pod in temperament. I cant rave about Brooklyn enough, and for a family pet she is brilliant. Great with the cats, kids alike. Just beautiful in looks and a real cuddle bunny. Her favourite thing is getting under a warm blanket, and theirs a game who can get under the blanket first. She loves the heat, and roasts herself in front of the Log Burner evening times. Brooklyn enjoys her walks, but I think she enjoys being lazier even better. She loves the woods, and is such a good girl as never leaves my side. Her pedigree name comes from the music theme in Guardians of the Galaxy, a personal favourite film of mine. Her pet name comes from of course Brooklyn as in New York and Brooklyn bridge. Everyone that knows me knows I choose more unusual names for our dogs now. Brooklyn hasn't been shown very often but only due to finances and I was campaigning my Tango to be an international champion. Now he has finished, she is joining Indie on the circuit in Europe. Ive got to take her to a few training classes now to refresh her memory but she does remember to stand okay. I am hoping to breed from Brooklyn also in 2020, its just a case of timing and how her seasons fall this year. But we are hoping she will come into season anything from March to May 2020. I wish I could be more precise on when she will have babies but its nearly impossible as my Vizsla have irregular seasons. After her litter I will rabies vaccinate her again and blood titre test her. But I am holding off on another vaccine just yet. Brooklyn loves her food, she is not a gusty greedy eater, she eats enough to look great. Where as some would eat until they exploded.! She eats all kinds of raw foods, including supplements to keep her in prime condition. I have here her father Chilli who is now 11 years of age, and you can see Chilli HERE She reminds me more of her father than her mother, and I can also see her great great grandparent in her facial features. She certainly has Chilli's wonderful temperament. Sadly her mother is no longer with us, after a short unexpected illness she passed away. Brooklyn is yearly health tested with our veterinary surgeon, they check for heart issues, and lungs, and general health. She is yearly vaccinated for Leptospirosis and every 3 years Parvo virus, distemper, canine hepatitis. Brooklyn is up to date on wormer and flea treatment.
