TIMES I can not be reached before 10.30am Monday to Friday. I can not be reached after 3pm Winter times. I do not carry a mobile phone on me, so text me first and when I look at my phone between 12-1pm and see your text I will reply and arrange a call back. I do not do calls weekends. Mobile 07584279384
TEXTS Do leave your name on a text. If you do not leave your details I may not reply. Make sure you write which breed you are thinking of as we own Hungarian Vizsla, Pug and French bulldogs.
COVID 19 The rules for dog breeding seems to change with what ever goes on in the UK. Lockdown no-one can visit breeders, and puppies have to be delivered. Speak to me about it. We can give you couriers details. Breeders which are licensed are allowed to deliver in a certain radius. Because of Covid no-one can allow visits to the home to see the parents. I am fully away that all info you will read will say do not buy unless you see the parents, but they didn't allow for Covid 19. Their are other ways we can keep in contact these days with whats app, show you videos etc.
EMAILS You can email me anytime. Remember if you are a new enquiry to copy and paste the questions and answers page on our available page. Tell me about yourself. If you do not give me any info we may not reply. If you send snotty emails we will not reply. No abuse of any kind will be tolerated. Also remember if you ring me (Rachel), my husband has full access to my phone, so no idiots please.
CALLS Call my mobile only which is 07584279384 Our landline is never used, we only have it for wifi. So never call the landline. If you leave a voice mail it may not be heard for a few days. We live in a pocket of poor reception and sometimes I don't get a voicemail the same day.
WITHHELD NUMBERS I will not answer with held numbers. I understand your job may require this. So text me and explain and then Ill know your not a nuisance call centre.
WEEKENDS I am not available at all. If we have arranged to talk on a Saturday because you can not speak weekdays, then I will arrange, but I do not answer the phone weekends. Im never in. I should mention we have a large garden and their is always something to do outside.
LATE CALLS AND LATE TEXTS Will not be answered. I only answer the phone to emergencies in the family.
SELLING ABROAD I am reluctant to sell any puppy to another country. I am waiting to hear what requirements will be needed from January 2020 as we have come out of Europe (Brexit), and if we leave with no deal then travel with dogs will become more difficult. I strongly believe all Vizsla puppies must leave at 8 weeks as they are a big sponge of learning, and if they miss bonding with their new owner, it can be detrimental to them. I have only kept the odd puppy in my time for longer. I will sell if the owner shows and wants a new blood line. I will not sell for just a pet, as its not worth doing so. I can often point you in the direction of a breeder in your country.
Where to Stay ?
Lots of people stay on an overnight close by when they are picking up their puppies.
Downham Market is a small market town with very few shops. They consist however of a Tesco's and Morrisons. You have a savers, Gregs, Many cafe's, Fish and chip shops, Kebab, Indian, Chinese. With a few pubs also.

Staying near something interesting. Lots of people like to make a weekend break. If you do then we are close to also the Norfolk coast line. It takes 40 mins to reach Hunstanton. Hunstanton is known for its excellent fish and chips, and they also have a chinese called Silk road which is the best one in the UK. If you go further along you have some quaint villages and pubs, and places to stay. Burnham Market is a nice quaint village with one of the best pie shops in Norfolk. The Lifeboat at Thornham is a lovely place to eat. You have so many to choose from. Brancaster has one of our best beaches as does Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. However remember we also have some dangerous beaches in Norfolk which have been known to take lives. Heacham, Holme next the Sea. Cromer and Sheringham are beautiful beaches and quaint towns. Great Yarmouth is a little too far, and its very bleak and not as pretty as some of the North Norfolk coast line but each person likes something different.
Don't forget also a good 1 1/2 from us is the Norfolk Broads. Lots of people hire boats and go up and down the broads for the weekend. Another lovely place is Ely, it seems alone in the middle of the fens, but the history in the town is fascinating.
If you are staying with a dog however your choices are more limited. Their is the Orange tree at www.theorangetreethornham.co.uk takes dogs. But you will have to check other places if they accept dogs or not as sometimes it changes.
