Silvestre This Aint Texas - Pet name D'Jango
(Not a stud dog until he is 18 months)
D'JANGO
Welcome to Jango's new page. This lovely home bred puppy's pedigree on paper is just fabulous. For those that know! The mixture of English, American, Canadian, Czech, Hungarian blood lines to name just a few. His parents were a total out cross, with the introduction to us a new line through Frodo who we were kindly gifted by Catherine.
I am excited about this dog!
Jango has everything which we want to see in such a young pup. He is now on a journey of learning before 6 months entering the show ring. He will be socialised
Jango's name was actually going to be something different and I had this name I had wanted for a long time. Then when the lovely Nicola and Elaine came for a puppy and mentioned the name, I fell in love as to me that movie was a powerful message.
The name Jango means, Brave, Warrior and awakened. This has a powerful message for those of you who understands what awakening means. I have been on a personal journey of awakening and learning about the other sides to life others do not think about. So this name had to be!
When Jango was born he was a twin. His brother the size of a mouse sadly just did not thrive and died in my hands. Jango was a dog that when he came out just took my eye. I said I am not choosing until 7 weeks. But I never told Darryl I wanted this puppy. Something about him energy wise, I just knew he would be staying. Anyway I held my thoughts to myself. We stood the puppies and then had a difficult choice because we liked so many. I wished I could have kept 3 in the litter for sure as they had fantastic show potential. Then even another 2 would have easily gone in the ring and won. But I stood all the puppies and Darryl looked and said I like this one which was Jango. I then got him to stand them all because you have to lay your hands on them to know. He said yes this is my keeper. I then said now Im going to tell you something. I knew this dog would be staying from the moment he came into the world. I told him my personal feelings and he said well, go with your gut feelings.
He is a superb puppy, as they all were. He is well mannered already, he is sleeping through the night already, he is not messing his crate already at 8 weeks.
In looks he is a good darker russet gold colour. Very tight feet, good level topline, movement you just cant be help see the good movement. He is confident. Lovely eye colour which is already changing. He just has everything he should have for now.
Let's see how he develops as things change.
For those that know me will know that I when I say I feel a part of Chilli is in him even though not in the pedigree. I can see Tango in him, which was my other older male and he is the great grand father. Thats exciting enough. We are now going to have some fun with him and I will add photos of him growing up on here.
