D'Jango
Welcome to Jango's page on our website.
This lovely home bred boys pedigree is fabulous on paper. A complete outcross and mixture of English, American, Australian, Canadian and Hungarian Bloodlines to name a few. But it may look great on paper we love what this boy has turned into in his short term on the earth. He is a year in March 26. But he's been an absolute joy. He is a very fit and healthy puppy.
He has a zest for happiness and oozes a lovely personality.
The name D'Jango means Brave, Warrior, Awakened. This is a powerful message to those who understand awakening.
When Jango was born he was a twin, he was the larger of the two, and the other was small like a mouse who sadly did not survive. He always took my eye from the day he was born, and I never told darryl. I said I wont choose until 7 weeks of age from this litter and I never told him which one I preferred. But I stood them on the floor one day and said to Darryl which one and he said I like him. I said now I can tell you that Ive known it was this dog from birth.
Jango's brother has been shown at companion shows and done very well also. We decided that we would not show Jango a lot during Puppy hood because we wanted him to enjoy his life and not loose that happiness which they can do if you over show them.
Jango went to a show called Premier open show and won best puppy, and then puppy group 3. He qualified for Crufts 2026. He was shown at one champ show and played up. So I then went back to training and he remembered to keep all four feet on the floor. He will be at Crufts this year. But in the meanwhile we have let him be a fun pet.
D'Jango does man trailing. I always wanted a dog that I could start doing this with and I decided it would do D'Jango some good as he loves to be busy and is highly intelligent in a good way. So we went to our first lesson and he loved it, we loved it. The next time we hid more and he just finds us every single time. It's fascinating watching a dog using its nose to air scent and floor scent their way to find a hidden person. It's not just us he finds, as he finds other people also. I am tempted to try him at competitions. So watch this space.
Today Jango went to his first Mantrailing and he had a lovely time. He loved every minute of it. We are going to continue with Jango as he did so well, and who knows we may well get into man trailing more and more.
Jango has a lovely russet gold coat its deep and rich. I think he looks like his mother's line and not so much his dad's. But Im quite pleased with him. A friend said wow he has the most beautiful head shape and I said yes he does. He's masculine but he's not over done in any way.
I am looking forward to taking him out more in 2026. Jango has been to Wales, and Cornwall in 2025 and he had a fine time. He will no doubt be on our holidays this year. But we will take him to a few shows around and continue with his man trailing.
Jango is a lovely velcro boy who is such a lot of fun. Ive enjoyed every minute of having him. I have a feeling he will be a great show dog.
