This is Frooti's page, my spoilt child. Oh yes she is!! She is with out a doubt a complete joy to our household and we couldn't imagine life with out her. It is probably one of the reasons Im considering not breeding from her as their are high risks involved when breeding a French bulldog.
Our First french bulldog is bubbles and we still own her. Then she had Cookie from her first litter, and from her second litter we had Frooti.
I first saw the French bulldog walking in the woodlands at Sandringham, and although I had seen them at ring craft training, I had never paid attention as Id not really seen a fawn Frenchie before. I had Weimaraners at the time. When I enquired about the breed and Weimaraners were £800 to find out a Frenchie was nearly £1500 back then I nearly fell over. I couldn't afford one. I ended up paying 7 years ago £2000 for my first one. Would I do it again, hell yes! These dogs are our life.
I went and watched them at championship shows and I got to speak to Amanda Ellis of Eastonite who was helpful and friendly and she told me she had mated Eastonite Shea, which was Bubbles daughter and thats how it all happened.
Bubbles is however the laziest dog you can ever wish to meet, over weight ha ha as she loves her dinner, and she has a camel bladder, which means she can go out at 2.30 in the afternoon and hold her self until 10 am the next day. We have to literally force her out the door. Once out she has a lovely time sniffing about in the garden, but she is just lazy. Her daughter Cookie and Frooti are total opposites as they love the outdoors, and walks in the woodlands.
Frooti name comes from a Mango drink which is one of the main soft drinks in India, but also the Australians drink it. We did an Australian theme for the names as one lady who was having a puppy wanted Wombat. But then when we submitted Wombat the Kennel club refused it as it was already a Kennel club affix. So back to the drawing board. We got for Frooti the name Silvestre Fair Dinkum.
Frooti is a character and a half, she is naughty and playful, pulls the most adorable mush, and is our little spoilt dog.
