This is Frooti’s page who is a Bubbles daughter. Frooti is just a baby still, and we have kept her to continue our breeding line in the future. The French bulldog won our hearts many years ago now and I couldnt live with out one in my life. As you can probably tell we are huge dog lovers. They show such love and dedication to their owners, and the boys in particular are shadows in your life. The first time I really took note of the French bulldog was when we had Weimaraners, and we were walking in wolverton woodlands and heath lands near Sandringham and this guy was walking his 16 week old Frenchie and we bumped into him. I couldn’t believe what a beautiful dog it was. The dog was fawn and well bred obviously as he took my eye instantly. I enquired about the breed and found out how much they were and nearly fell through the floor as back then Weimaraners were £800 and the Frenchie was nearly £1500 back then. I didnt realise how much they cost But I soon found out how costly they are to breed. I watched them at Champ shows and then one day went and spoke to Amanda Ellis of Eastonite Frenchies ring side and she was so helpful and friendly and said she had just mated a girl called Eastonite Shea, and when i looked at photographs of Shea I instantly knew she was the one for us. I brought Bubbles and we were smitten.
Frooti’s name comes from a Mango drink which is one of the main soft drinks in India, but also the Australians drink it. We did an Australian theme for names because at the time one lady who was having a puppy wanted the name to be Silvestre Wombat, but sadly the Kennel club didnt allow the name as it’s someone’s affix. We managed to get Fair Dinkum.
Frooti comes from a long line of pedigree recognised colours. Sadly the breed is so diluted now with fad colours which are the result of cross breeding. Frooti is also hereditary clear of many diseases. She will go on to have health tests which arent recorded with the Kennel club. But this seems years off yet. She will also under go Boas testing just before she is 2 years of age.
We are enjoying having Frooti in the home, and everyone adores her and she adores. Frooti has adventures every single day and we are building on her social skills at the moment. We want her to be confident in all that she does. Training classes are few and far between because of covid 19, but we shall be taking her out with us to build on experiences and with our knowledge on training dogs hopefully this will set her in good stead for her future training.
