Silvestre Party On - Katie
The latest member to our show team is Kati. Photos will be on here as she grows up. But for now this is in the making.
PUPPY - NOT A BREEDING BITCH
Welcome to Katie's page.
When I choose names I often have a meaning behind them. My friends spaniel was a Katie and I always loved the name. She became a show champion and a special spaniel. I always said I would call a dog of mine Katie one day. It really suits her. Her pedigree name came from our Party theme. I did actually choose a different name but the kennel club did not allow it. But I decided this name would be okay. Silvestre Party on. Probably quite typical for this missy because she knows how to make the best of life. Throws herself into most things. I would say Katie is very intelligent for a dog. Which I need to harness and do some exciting obedience tricks.
Katie is super sensible, knows what she wants. Growing up beautifully. At the moment she is at that naughty time when puppies want a bit more input than owners get time for. So they then do other things like Digging holes in the yard ha ha. But as much as she is a tinker at home in the yard, when she goes out she is an angel.
Katie is completely house trained and although the first week she did have accidents she soon stopped. So she is super clean.
Katie went to the Royal Norfolk show and was good as gold. She enjoyed seeing people, others animals including all the farm land animals, horses, sheep, cattle and pigs at the show. Horses with carriages. All great for social skills, and she took it all in her stride, with guns going off. Parachutes coming down out the sky. It goes to show you if you do socialise correctly they take it all in their stride. Social skills is not about mixing with dogs, it's about life experiences.
I have booked an open show for Katie in September which is local and we can support it. But I am booking her for her first championship show in September also.
I will update the page as Katie grows, but she has a long time ahead of her before we even think of breeding. She is just a baby and for a baby she is brilliant.
