MAN TRAILING
I call this hide and seek with your dog for fun. Of course their is always a serious side to Man trailing but its great fun for you and your dog.
We started doing man trailing in 2025 and had a few taster sessions which lead then to more. I am seriously considering doing much more. But we have not had the time yet. But if you get the opportunity have a go as it's great fun.
So what do we have to do? We have to have an object with our scent on, so you will find us for 2 hours before the session with socks under our arm pits. Then we put in a plastic sealed bag the socks. Our scent remains on the socks and the dogs are then trained to find us where we have hidden up. It's great fun to do it.
Which dog does Man trailing you may ask. Well its D'Jango for now but we are also thinking of trying with Geralt our Bracco.
