To explain how we make waiting lists so that you know before you contact us. We do not make waiting lists months in advance as it's impossible to know when a dog is going to come into season. We always wait for a scan to confirm pregnancy and then we do not waste peoples good time. We do not chase you, because I get so many enquiries you all mix into a jumble of names. It is up to you to contact us. If you can whats app or Text message us. This keeps all enquires easy to go back on for us. Emails get lost in the oblivion of spam mail. If your plans are to have a puppy later in the year there is no point doing an urgent call to speak to me as we have loads of time. We do not do waiting lists that far in advance because they do not work. I get many people contact me who have done this with other breeders and have been let down. BIRDIE LITTER

This is the bit you really need to read for BIRDIE LITTER.
Okay so we are on the count down now for her puppies. She is due Monday 13th. But could come sooner, or later, but when she was scanned she was pretty much on the day.
Her tummy is changing now and you can see the bodies inside have got now to the right size for labour. Her tummy looks harder now in places where as before it's softer, and you can see the puppies moving. Her milk glands are only now forming, which means we are heading in the right direction. I'll try and get a photo of her later if I can and post here. But she doesn't go far from me, so every time I bop down she runs to me and I cant get a side photo. So I may have to tie her to the fence to get one ha ha.
It's all going well is what I want to tell you. She is eating each meal 2LB of boiled chicken mince, boiled eggs, vegetables, and stock, with added nutriments in supplements. She is also having some bone meal to firm stools but it gives calcium so we do not have a calcium drop in mum. All dogs loose calcium during whelping, this is a fact. So we have to make sure she gets it other wise they can get something called Eclampsia. This is used during birth. Everyone thinks whelping is straight forward, but you should see my medical bag which tells you otherwise ha ha. This is experience though.
The mums need more gentle foods leading up to birth which is lots of proteins. She is a picture of health. I know I spend a fortune on my girls but they have the best of everything. But most of all they have me, and my experience to help them. My vet is already aware theirs a Silvestre birth heading this way and its in their diary. As sometimes you need vet in the middle of the night.
Her whelping box is set up, with heat lamp over head. My whelping bag is ready for a mid night start. With all the things you need.
I am not leaving the house now until it's all over and done with, just so I know all is safe and well and I can deliver all your puppies for you who are waiting. It's exciting times. I will endeavour to take some photos. Please try not to keep messaging me for updates as I will write here the moment they have arrived. I will loose tons of sleep now and I will get over tired and confused with people keep messaging.

Birdie's page tells you all about her. She is a super girl with a fussy outgoing personality. Beautiful head, and we even own her Dad Indie. Birdie is a dog which hides her pregnancy well. I have put a video on instagram of Birdie. She was scanned for 7-8 puppies, but her last litter she was scanned and produced more than we saw on scan. So birdie is a mystery girl. Her puppies should be ready for new homes in June.
We are now on the count down for Birdies puppies to arrive. Birdie has moved home from the dog room into my lounge so I can set the camera up and watch her at night. She can also spread her tummy out over the sofa. I can now see the ripples of puppy movement in her tummy.
GERI LITTER
We are pleased to announce that Geri is pregnant with 8-9 puppies. These will be born in May time. Ready to go July.
Geri is just the sweetest of nature you could wish to have in any dog. She was a great mother to her first litter. We are excited for her second litter now she will know what it's all about. I knew she was pregnant early on as she runs to me to tell me she has a secret. I love this about her.
Once we have Birdies litter on the ground we will then know who will get one from her, and then we will prioritise those on the list for one of Geri pups before all newer enquiries. We are taking people onto Geri list as a reserve list at the moment as I think we could have enough people. It's always hard to tell until the pups are in our hands.
NEXT LITTER
It really just depends who comes into season.
Candy - We hope to breed Candy at some point 2026. It is just a question for us when she comes into season. She is due in May. We will keep you updated.
Or
Willow - We forgot that Willow has not had a season for 13 months and she could come into season in the late Spring time. If she comes in the same time as Candy we will be breeding Willow and leaving Candy until later this year.
Yes Vizsla girls are very unpredictable. I never know how breeders can guarantee a litter for that month of the year in two years time. When Im asked this question I can only answer with the only obvious answer which is they probably have a lot of breeding bitches.
LATER 2026
Our son Josh is planning a first litter with Whiskey. He will mate her to our young dog Jango. Jango will be health tested during the summer time. Whiskey is Clear of DNA results, and has been hip and elbow scored and eye tested. Joshua lives next door to us. Whiskey has regular seven monthly seasons.
BRACCO ITALIANO - We hope to breed Nancy September with puppies due November.
