PURCHASING A PUPPY
This page has replaced my contact page. It can be really exciting prospect to start your initial enquiry into owning a Silvestre puppy. But some of you may find it daunting as well. But rest assured we are easy to speak too and we try to give you the good points and the bad points in owning a dog. The way I word things I can be blunt, but I am trying to describe the breed as best as I can do. When you buy a puppy from us you do not just buy a puppy, you enter the wider Silvestre Family. There are many that meet up, socialise and have a lovely relationship all because they brought a dog. This makes us very happy because for us having a dog which means the world is everything. Our job is complete and we smile every photo that comes through. We do love. updates. Remember we are here for the good times not just the bad. We get sometime people notify us they have lost their 15 year old dog and I honestly can not remember who they are. Because they may of collected a puppy and that was it. But we tell everyone we love updates and I do love it when people keep in contact. Because this is a family home it does not feel like a business, but the law on breeding animals try to make it a business because of the regulations we have to comply too. But we will never let it be other than a domestic breeding. We do have to implement some guidelines so that I am not on call all day and all night as I would not have a life otherwise. We welcome your enquiry into owning one of our puppies. To contact me my telephone number is 07584279384 but here is what you need to know about me. I have a policy of contact which is text me around 10.30am on the day you want a phone call. I will text you back and arrange over text when we will call. You can whats app me also on the same number. If you email me it may take a few days before I reply. My email address is [email protected] If I do not reply then text me as emails do not always come through. Please be aware that I am always busy, when you own dogs you do not have any time to yourself. I will only do 2 phone calls per day because I am busy with the dogs. If I am on the phone all day the dogs would not get the adequate care. The dogs come first in this house. Phone calls please note:
VISITING US As mentioned above we have been given some guidelines by the police years ago into how we do visits. Because it is at these visits where breeders put themselves at risk. The Kennel club does not take into account the risks involved in their literature to you what you should expect from a breeder. So we all have to get the best advice from authorities who understand what it is like having strangers in their homes.
PHOTOGRAPHS You are welcome to take photos on the day of visit. But please do not post onto social media if it shows our house or front of house. Each week stage I will send you photos and videos. But please do not hold me to a certain day because I send when I can. I know I send fab photos more than lots of other breeders do so please be patient. They will come, and on occasion you may get two weeks in one. Depending on how busy I am. Just do not ask for photos as I do not have to send any. Also remember NO PHOTOS of mine may be shared on social media. We try to limit pictures on social media due to theft of pups. |

She is one of my top show girls and we are rather excited to see what she produces us. We are keeping from this mating for future showing and breeding ourselves. We have instagram also and you can always message me on instagram but please note I may not see this for a few days. ALL ABOUT OUR PUPPIES We breed Hungarian Vizsla puppies. Once a year Bracco Italiano puppies, and rarely French bulldog puppies. All our puppies are raised in the home. They start off either in our spare bedroom or office room. Then they move into our dog room which leads onto the patio. We have two patios and both are enclosed and lead from our back doors. Our mums always live in the lounge with us so we are keeping a close eye on them from the moment they are mated. The other girls live in the dog room which is busier. We always up the food on our pregnant mums around 6 weeks into pregnancy. They have treats every day and constant supply of water to drink. Or goats milk if they want it. They have gentle walks around our garden which leads off from the main patio and they have the utmost care. I sleep with them when they are due and I have Ring security camera in the room. We have in fact security cameras everywhere. I can watch our dogs from my phone. When puppies are born they are vulnerable. They are born blind and deaf and it is not until their eyes open and ears open that they can hear and see. This can take 10-14 days from birth. When eyes open they look cloudy as vision is not great yet. Just like human babies at birth can only see the mom's face. Our puppies stay in the whelping room until we wean them onto solid foods then they change rooms. Our dog room is a tiled floor which is great for messy mouthes. In the nursery things get exciting with toys and treats. By 6 weeks they are running outside and in good weather will have a large pen on the patio with a play gym, tunnels, activity toys, beds to lay on. We always have the radio on for them to hear voices, accents, different types of music. We also play a firework CD. We handle them from such an early age that they are used to human contact. We implement touch for each puppies touching toes, inside mouth, ears and so on. All things they will experience as an adult. Mums are weaned gradually, so when you visit she will have milk still, and I never think they look very nice as they have huge milk glands. Sometimes they loose hair and do not look their best. But when you collect they are starting to get their fitness back, good coat, and gained weight again. When you visit you will meet mum of your puppies. Some times you can meet Dad. PUPPY VIEWING Are you excited? Of course you are, and we are excited to meet you and be a part of the puppy experience. You will be send a wee map the day before visit which shows you where we are on our road, as the sat nav takes you completely wrong. We give everyone 1 hour time slots. This can be hard to judge for some so you may have to set out earlier. Please text me if you think you will be late. If you're half an hour late your time slot will reduce as someone else will be waiting. I have had it happen where both turned up for same time slot, and Im happy to see you both at same time. But it's nicer to give you my one hundred percent attention. We can give you names of places to eat locally for breakfast or lunch. Or places to stay over night. If you are not well please do not visit us and cancel the appointment. I have 3 AUTO immune diseases and any virus can have quite an impact on my daily life. It is easy to do a video call instead of make appointment for a week later. Viewings are in my lovely garden room I had built for me to sit and enjoy the sunshine. We erect a pen for the puppies. We will not have mum in the same room as the noise will go from peaceful to loud when they start crying for mum. So you can meet her just outside and then we can take her in the house again. We have tried all ways but believe me when I say the noise level is so much you wont hear me talking lol. We do not do multiple visits. But I am happy to also video call you a week later if you want to see the puppies again. Collection is always 8 weeks of age. If you can not collect on the exact day we would advise waiting for another litter of ours. Puppies get very stressed being left behind as they do not miss us, they miss their siblings. The Vizsla gets super stressed. Which means screaming and lots of it. For those of you who wants us to keep a puppy any later their is a charge per day as I have to give up everything I do then to care for the puppy. I charge £35 per day. I will take your puppy out, and socialize to new experiences. Before visiting you will be send by email files of information which applies to having a puppy. But please ask questions when you visit. You are welcome to use our house toilet inside our hallway. But please note Geralt the Bracco lives in there and will be inside the crate and he will bark like a hell hound. I will come in just to try and quieten him down for you. He loves me what can I say! He scares off every amazon driver ha ha. At your visit you will be told your Kennel club name for puppy. There will be a contract of sale to sign, plus signing the breeding endorsement template. PRICE OF PUPPY It is true you can find puppies online cheaper than our puppies but also more money than ours. Our price reflects many things. We do many health tests on the parents, and you are paying for this. I would not want a puppy from parents who are not health tested. It can save you not only your dogs life but thousands of pounds at vets, Health tests costs thousands, and also take my time for example. If I take a dog to be hip scored Im away all day. Same for eye testing clinics. The price also shows my credentials as a breeder, with my experience, and knowledge. Knowing that your breeder has met every need a puppy requires. We do not give a puppy guarantee as no-one can predict what happens after it leaves our care. But your puppy will have a health check done with a qualified Veterinary surgeon and this is a guarantee that at point of sale you have brought a healthy puppy. We produce quality puppies from champions. We do not put in our adverts how many champions are in a pedigree as a selling point. My selling point is I know the dogs in our pedigree's and have stood and watched them in the show ring. One of my girls I know all five generations of dogs. Of course if dogs live in other countries it's harder but I have researched vastly the dogs we put into our pedigrees. Sometimes it takes me up to 3 years to be confident to add a certain line to our dogs. To produce a healthy confident puppy takes all my time. I do not work elsewhere, this hobby/business is my life. Your puppy gets my undivided attention. All day and all night. I am not off working all day coming home for a couple of hours attention. They get my attention all the time. This is what you are paying for the best care money can buy. I am very confident you are buying the best puppies and raised with love. |
