WAITING LISTS
Waiting List Information
The terms of our waiting list have always been available on our Terms page. However, as some people have not been returning their forms or reading the Terms page, I have created this waiting list page to make the process clearer and to answer your questions.
Once a pregnancy has been confirmed by scan, we will send you an agreement form. Before this point, you must have remained in contact with us and followed the website weekly for updates. Updates may be provided daily or weekly, depending on the circumstances.
As soon as you see that one of our girls is in season, please contact us straight away to confirm your place by WhatsApp only.
As I now own my own scanner, once we have completed a scan, I can confirm whether our lovely lady is in whelp. We will then send you an agreement form. You may request doing the agreement before scan. But we do this months in advance, or years.
I only know what breeding plans I will have six months prior.
The form will state:
- The parents of the litter
- The approximate due date
- The price of the puppy
- Terms
- Signature required, your request on sex to be written down, and I then need this returned to me by whats app.
We call this our rolling waiting list. If we are unable to help you with one litter, we will roll you into a higher position for the sex you require on the next litter.
Sexes Cannot Be Confirmed by Scan
We cannot tell you the sexes of the puppies before they are born. On the scan, all we see is a circle with a squiggle inside. With dog ultrasounds, we do not know the sexes until the puppies are born.
It is your responsibility to pay the £100 holding fee and return the completed form by WhatsApp only. I keep all correspondence on WhatsApp so that I can scroll back through the messages and see exactly what has been discussed.
If you email or text instead, your conversation may be lost. Therefore, please use WhatsApp when messaging me.
Once I receive the completed form and payment, I will place you in order on the litter list. However, if you are late returning the form, you may miss out to other enquiries who respond more efficiently. It is your responsibility to return everything promptly.
Holding Fee and DepositsThe £100 holding fee is non-refundable if you decide to withdraw from the purchase of a puppy. This is in place to prevent time-wasters from requesting puppies.
We do expect you to continue asking for updates along the way, as we need to know that you are still waiting. We do have people who withdraw at the last moment.
However, if we cannot help you with a puppy and do not have another litter coming along soon enough, we will refund the £100 by bank transfer.
The holding fee forms part of the puppy payment and is not an additional charge.
All deposits are non-refundable. However, if we cannot provide you with a healthy puppy at eight weeks, we will refund the full deposit amount. All puppies visit our vets at seven weeks for a full health check.
Reserve ListWe also have a reserve list, for which we do not take payment. You can remain on this list and, in most cases, we may still be able to help you, as there can sometimes be more puppies than were seen on the scan.
However, there may also be fewer puppies than expected.
If you are someone who wishes to see the puppies before making a decision, you will need to wait until they are five weeks old. If a puppy is still available at that stage, you may arrange to visit. However, you cannot visit before five weeks, and you do risk missing out.
Once the Litter Is BornOnce the litter has been born and I can confirm the sexes, I will review the waiting lists and work through them in order.
It may take a day or two to contact everyone and confirm their position, so please be patient.
I also lose a great deal of sleep during this time. If you continue messaging repeatedly, I may accidentally give you incorrect information because I will be very tired and may forget what is recorded in the diary. Please allow me time to work through everything accurately.
PaymentsOnce your puppy has been confirmed, we will request a further £400, bringing your total deposit to £500.
The final payment can be made:
- In cash on the day of collection; or
- By bank transfer seven days before collection.
WhatsApp Litter GroupWithin the group, I will share photographs, videos and any documents relevant to your litter.
The group will remain open for four weeks after the puppies have left. I am considering keeping groups open permanently, but WhatsApp can become cluttered with messages from friends, groups and other conversations. This can make it difficult to manage and can also take up a considerable amount of space on the phone.
Facebook GroupOnce you have a puppy from us, you are welcome to join our Facebook group.
Puppy Prices and ReceiptsWe do not put the final price on the website because prices may need to change as costs increase.
We are a licensed breeding family home and follow all relevant laws and regulations, including completing tax returns. We pride ourselves on doing things professionally, including providing a printed receipt for the money paid for your puppy—something many breeders do not provide.
All payments are recorded in our paperwork, which makes managing our accounts easier, particularly as prices may vary. Prices may also vary between the different breeds we own.
Breeding EndorsementsWe do not sell dogs or bitches for breeding unless you are involved in showing dogs, working dogs or another recognised activity with your dogs.
Pet breeders do not qualify, as we do not lift endorsements.
Show HomesIf you are a show home and are having a show puppy from us, we recommend visiting when the puppies are six weeks old rather than five weeks. At this stage, we can choose together which puppy we believe has the best potential.
All puppies are microchipped by six weeks of age to avoid any confusion.
The deposit will still be taken in the same way as outlined above.
Questions and answers
What happens if you have delayed sending form back ? Someone else maybe ahead of you or the waiting list may of been closed if your too late.
What happens I change my mind on sex? You will be at the end of the next sex list as I have already taken down people on the waiting list ahead of you.
What happens if I do not mind what sex I have, will I get one quicker? Yes most likely you will get one quicker as I can not determine sexes and often you can get more of one sex to another.
If I have gone on someone else's waiting list but have also gone on yours what happens then to the £100? Im afraid you will loose your £100. Hedging your bets with the first breeder to have a litter does not mean you can mess everyone around. If you pay the money and back out you loose your money.
What happens if I have a family tragedy and would like to be deferred to next litter? You are welcome to change to a future litter. But you can only be deferred once.
What happens if I only want one from one particular bitch? The choice is yours but I cannot push you ahead of others, so you could miss out still and then you would not have a puppy at all.
Personally speaking I would consider all our bitches because sometimes puppies do not even look like the parents. Genetics always fascinate me when we see great, great ,great grandparents looks come through. The puppy will also develop just what you put into them. Great training and you have a great dog. Poor training and you have an unruly dog.
What happens if I want one from you but I want to see the puppies first? As mentioned further up you are welcome to do this but you will miss out if I have sold a puppy before the 5 weeks visit.
