Roux's Page Roux came to us in the year 2018 and we have thoroughly enjoyed having her and love her to bits. She is a very beautiful girl, and has a lovely even Russet gold coat. She is smart and intelligent too. She never leaves my side when I take her to the woods, when others will run off for a mooch, she is just behind me. She is loyal to a T! Roux loves to have things in her crate with her, especially a teddy. She likes to collect items and hides under blankets. I have found apples, wood, bones and cuddly toys. Roux is very healthy and has had one litter in 2021. She gave birth with ease to 6 beautiful puppies. We went out to stud to a handsome fella who was the son of my dog Chilli. He gave us some beauties, and we kept a girl called Jovie. One of her puppies is living with a professional Rugby player in the UK. His girl is identical to Roux and I love her. In looks Roux is very old style, the classic sculptured head, and good bone. When I asked her breeder once who could she see in her, she said Gardenway lines. I have plans on taking Roux to a champ show in the UK early next year, to see if she can get a place. Roux is not a lover of shows, which is why she has been shown so rarely. It worries her hearing dogs barking, dogs lunging about and she is a gentle soul. Roux's day consists of playing with a ball, going to the forest, and sleeping in the basket in front of the log burner. Not all Vizsla will enjoy the noisy champ show. A lot of people do not realise how noisy they can be. But let me put it like this if I was to ring someone I couldn't hear a word they said sometimes or them me for dogs barking. She prefers the quiet life, and what a gentle soul she is. She wants to please at all times, and if I was to scream which I wouldn't, I think it would blow her mind ha ha. I don't have to tell her off, because she just is a good girl. Her daughter Jovie is amazing too.! Never yet peed or pooped in house or urinated. Been house trained from 7 weeks of age. She is a tinker outside at the moment though, as she will find things she shouldn't, like a toadstool and think she can eat it. She chases her pal around who is Goose, and they adore Geralt the Bracco. If you meet Roux, do not just dive straight in, give her time to assess you, as she is a thinker, and she will study you before she agrees if your okay or not. This was is exceedingly smart! I trust her judgement. She can read peoples souls this one. Roux has been showered with love from the moment I held her in my arms to evenings snuggled up watching TV. I am so lucky/blessed to have a team of dogs which are so good. My son always says its the owner, I will take that as a compliment. Joshua took Roux for her second mating as I was in Cornwall at the time. This is what he does. He has a dog cover on the back seat, puts her in a harness, attaches it to the restraint. Then face times us in the car park of Mc Donalds. "All going okay I ask?", Oh yes all is well, and he says look! Opens up a burger, passes it in the back and Roux scoffs it. I said "my goodness you are spoiling that dog". Thats how much our dogs mean to us. They are not breeding machines, they are loved individuals with a special place in the whole of team Silvestre's hearts.
