Geralt
Geralt is my bestest boy in the whole world to me. He is my dog, and I am his world. He is developed a strong bond with me and he supports me in everything that I do. I love the bones of this dog. I understand Geralt and we have this unusual bond which goes beyond ownership of an animal. I have been training to do Reiki on animals, and I realised I had a bigger connection with animals than I previously knew. I was told as a child I had abilities with animals and my parents were always amazed. I kind of tried to tell myself that this was all nonsense, but gradually with age you start to realise that I can connect in ways other people can not with their dogs.
Geralt came from Bence Kantor and was bred in Hungary, he came to us at 4 months of age, after he could pass his rabies and ideal time to travel. I will never forget the moment he got off the courier bus at our doorstep. He looked at me and knew he was home.
Geralt wins hearts over where ever he goes, he has the biggest fan club.
He is Gentle, great with everyone of all ages. We were recently on holiday and a 3-4 year old little girl ran up to him and touched him. Her mother told her off for running up to a strange dog. Geralt did not flinch at all, he just stood there calmly and let the little girl touch him. I find this breed to be so good with young children, more than I would say with a Hungarian Vizsla.
Geralt is orange and white in colour, and he has lots of ticking in the coat. The orange have less problems with coat colour than the Chestnuts. Geralt does not throw the trigger colour gene.
Geralt is an unusual name I am told time and time again, as people want to call him Gerald. His name comes from the Witcher Netflix program. The Witcher was a series of books, and then was turned into an xbox game, and then a series. Henry Cavill was the Witcher for 2 episodes.
Geralt was shown as a puppy and he did fantastic, being in the group several times. He loved showing off. But he had a bad experience which made him hate the showing. We decided to pull him from the ring for a year and then see if. he feels better about it again in a year. Geralts movement is like no other Bracco in the UK, he glides along the floor. You can see from some videos below just how much he glides. His movement is effortless and I love watching him the field every day.
Geralt is trusted to sleep where ever he wants in the house. He has never chewed a thing in my house, and is the bestest boy.
Ive not held Geralt at open stud as I dont like my boys being put to lots of bitches. He is available to selected people only.
