Braccorion's as you like at Silvestre - Eddie
Eddie I call my surprise puppy. Thank you to my lovely husband who knew I wanted a chestnut and white puppy. When we reserved a puppy from Budapest we actually chose a chestnut and white puppy. I had always wanted one, but as it turned out he wasn't quite good enough for the show ring so we had the decision to swap to an orange and white puppy which was Roman. Darryl knew how I wanted a chestnut and white puppy. So it fell into place and Eddie came into our home and he's a cracking puppy male.
Eddie is the correct chestnut colour, as it should be. He probably will not be as big as a lot of Bracco but I like a Bracco to be able to do a days work in looks, be lean not too heavy. Eddie has a lovely shape to him and I think will do well when he is an adult in the UK.
He is currently in training. Because he is docked we can not show him in many countries, although we can show him in France. So we are going to do his rabies in 2024 and take him to France when we do the Douai show. Docked dogs can be shown in the UK, but the only show they can not be shown is Crufts dog show. So Roman can qualify for Crufts but can not be shown at Crufts.
Eddie is very true when stood and doesn't have loose movement as some male Braccos can have. He will be at LKA championship show in the hope of qualifying him. I love to qualify my dogs even if they can not enter Crufts dog show. I am going to have to read the rules on other countries further afield to see if they allow docked dogs to be shown. Everyone knows I do not like docking, but sometimes you have to look past it to get a nice constructed dog. Any puppy from our kennel will never be docked.
Eddie has been brought for showing primarily.
