A new idea for our website is the video Ive put underneath my writing here.  It is to show you first hand each dog we own.  Nancy is a special  girl.

WELCOME TO NANCY'S PAGE
In 2026 I will update her page with some more photos and I will try to remember to take my phone out with me. 
Nancy had her first litter of puppies in 2025 and all found wonderful homes with 2 show homes and 2 working homes included with pet homes.  We had loads of enquiries and it was lovely to help some new people bring a beautiful bracco into their home.  Thank you to everyone who joined our happy family.  Im looking forward to updates with photos now please.  We love updates. 

Nancy is with out a doubt my favourite Bracco of all time, she has something special about her inside and out.  I should not have favourites but I do and I think where Nancy is concerned she is very intelligent, watches my eyes, knows what I am going to do before I do.  She looks into your soul and is a special dog.  Nancy is a happy dog and unassuming, not demanding and easy to have.  I love all my dogs of course but she has that special something.

Nancy is food fun and loves to retrieve from water, and loves getting a ball. She has the most amazing temperament which Im grateful for and seeing how some sadly do not, I know my dogs represent the breed wonderfully. She is super loving and amazing.  
Nancy is Chesnut and white with roan marks, it's quite a striking coat colour.  She produced two super boys with this colouring too. Then some with hardly any orange at all, talk about beautiful markings.

We have kept Maeve from her litter who will continue her breeding line into the future with us. 

Nancy is a character for sure, and that very long nose she will look down it and you can think what a snob she is.  She's very kind and gentle.  She carries toys for what seems like eternity and parades around like she has the best present in the world.  She is kind with my small dogs and cat.  She does make me chuckle some days as she can be comical too. 

Nancy is not a drooler as you will hear some are, thank goodness she is not.  She is also a great traveller in the car.   With Bracco this can take work as they are not automatically great travellers, so little and often for a start.  But Nancy is brilliant and she came all the way to Belgium with us in 2025.

Nancy is great with young children and especially children on the spectrum like my grandson. She will sit with him softly and let him hug her if he wants.  She is like that with all children.  I will always say she is our dog though and she is not that bothered about strangers.  She loves her mummy and Im her world. I like that in a dog.  All my dogs end up this way because I teach them as a behaviourist not to go up to strangers, not to go up to strange dogs.  To ignore people.  This is a quality which is GOOD DOG MANNERS.  It's my one bug bear in life seeing dogs run up to strangers and flatten them. 

She does love to be in the centre of everything we do and I mean centre. This means in front standing there or looking at you. 

We took Nancy to Belgium to a dog show earlier in 2025 and she won the RCAC and RCACIB which was fab.  I think we enjoyed the town centre of Brugges more.  We walked down the high street. Found lots of shade to sit in.  We then found a fab place to eat under a parasol.  We had a waffle, or should I say Nancy had a waffle with strawberries and a bowl of water.  Yes I know dogs should not each human food with sugar etc. But she deserved it.  She had loads of attention from all the holiday makers wanting to come and say hello to her.  We even spotted a handsome italiano bracco walking through the streets and of course we had to all say HI!  Nancy was indignant as this male wanted to sniff her bits.  She said im saving myself honey for a nice guy called Eddie. 

Nancy has that true Bracco head piece, those divergent planes and ooooh she is gorgeous. I can not show Nancy any more as my body has given up.  But Darryl is going to handle her in Europe and we will have help in the UK.  My job is caring for them and being the best breeder I can be for puppies.  But for the show side Im taking a back seat now.  I maybe able to handle a puppy on occasion as they are smaller, but my illness makes it quite difficult to do things like I used to when I was younger. 

I will never forget when Nancy was 5 weeks old and I knew she would be staying but I had not told Darryl which one.  She glided across the patio and I was like WOW for a 5 week old.  I knew if she moved that way she would be constructed right.
Now in her litter several took my eye. But I decided my heart was set on Maeve early on. Waited to get conformation when she was 7 weeks that she would be the one. But I knew she would be.  Oh she's lovely, and she reminds me of her Grand mother Yennefer. 

Nancy will be going to Crufts now after persuasion from friends. 

Nancy is a very fit and healthy Bracco.  She is regular vet checked to make sure she is in fit peak fitness.  She has excellent hips, elbows and eyes.    She has good close fitting eye lids which some do lack sadly.  I do not like drooping eyes like a blood hound.  Sp I purposely breed for good eyes. 

Nancy has no tri colour gene carried. 

Nancy has NO FOOD allergies.  Nancy has full immunity to Parvo, Distemper and Hepatitis by blood test.

Nancy is vaccinated for Rabies so she can travel in and out of the UK. 

Let's see whats in store for Nancy now she has had her first litter.  Get her back in shape for the show ring and see how she goes.

Nancy's Parents

Sire: Braccorions Quick Look at Callaiscroft 1RCC.  Dam: Silvestre Braccorions read my lips at Silvestre
The breeder of both sire and dam was Emma Towns of Braccorion affix who's been the top breeder for a few years.  Top breeder means dogs that have won in the show ring.
