All about Tango Tango is now retired from the show ring after proving himself to be a dog of quality and champion. Tango became an international champion in 2019 after showing him in Europe in 3 different countries to claim the title. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Melissa Finch who is Silberliss Weimaraners in helping us handle him towards some of his show wins in Europe. Tango won a CC at a UK Championship dog show in Paignton which I handled him (Rachel), a proud moment indeed. Retired now due to knocking his tooth out after hitting a tree in the field which sadly shouldn't of stopped his show wins, but it contributed to UK judges knocking him from top honours in the end. In Europe they accept injuries due to the breed being a working breed. We are so happy with what he has achieved, we believe all dogs should retire and live out their lives doing what they love best and for Tango he is always accompanying us to the beaches, mountains and he just loves being with us. We are proud that Tango has sired some fantastic offspring. Current show winners in the UK show circuit and 3 offspring in Europe. He has produced a Russian Champion, and a belgium and International champion. What more could we ask for! Two of his sons went to Crufts 2020 and one placed 4th and the other 2nd. We are proud of all his children. Tangos also has children who are working dogs. We are not ready quite yet to retire Tango from being a stud dog, but this may be on the cards soon, as we have a younger male. We have kept two Tango offspring ourselves now to continue his blood line.
Tango was bred by the lovely Sophie Burden who lived in Kent, now Cornwall. I know she is as proud of Tango as we are.
Tango is a Vizsla who is soft natured, but he is also full on ball fun boy. Take him outside and he springs to life literally and can jump fences, swim deep waters, and will do anything to get that ball. Tango would possibly go off with a perfect stranger as he is too trusting, where as some of my others are not fooled as easily. Tangos love of balls developed when he was a young puppy as he decided one day to run off across a lake chasing geese, much to my horror. We realised we had a dog with a hunting instinct. So from that point we started to focus his mind on balls as rewards for keeping close to us. Tango has a fantastic temperament with my other boys. I have a veteran Vizsla Chilli, Indie our young boy then two small male dogs. He is brilliant with them all. Respectful and will never pick a fight, which in reality he could being in his prime, male dogs in a pack of bitches. But nope all our dogs are just wonderful with each other.
Tango is available at stud to approved bitches. Get in touch if you have a Tango son or daughter and want to say hello, follow me on Instagram and chat by messenger if you wish.
Tango has no Yogi in his pedigree what so ever. Yogi was the best dog Ive ever had the pleasure of seeing in the show ring, but he is in many pedigree's so to not breed too closely we wanted a male which didnt have Yogi in his blood lines. So we could use on bitches that did have Yogi.
Tango throws something in particular in all his offspring and that is good depth of chest and forechest, plus most have good bone, which means not small and weedy. A Vizsla may be a smaller dog, but it shouldn't be weak.
Tango's father lives in the Netherlands, and his mother Laura who was bred in Russia at Tina Trading kennels, but she sadly died here in the UK with her owner Sophie.
STUD DOG INFO Get in touch for a chat, send us your pedigree of your bitch and copies of her health tests. We are extremely experienced stud handlers and always get a mating so you will not be coming to someone who doesn't know what it takes to breed a litter. We can guide you and give great experience. We have assisted many friends breedings with different breeds, and happy to do so locally. It is not an exact science dog breeding, but an experienced stud handler is worth their weight in gold for a successful and non stressful event for your female.
If you wish to use Tango at stud please note, your bitch must be 2 years of age. Your bitch must not be over 7 years at time of breeding. If first litter should not be over 4. They must be health tested a minimum of hip score and glaucoma testing. All offspring must be registered with the Kennel club of Great Britain. All offspring must have a breeding endorsement on their KC documents. A contract of sale including the breeding endorsement details should be done by you, and signed by the new owner. If you keep a female your self from the breeding no endorsement is required, as we all breed to keep our next generation. The breeding endorsement is only in place to stop the wrong kind of pet owners breeding from dogs which are substandard and for back yard breeders who we do not want to promote at all. All puppies must be micro chipped by 8 weeks by the breeder. You must have a breeders license, as to sell dogs in the UK you must be registered to your council as a breeder. Breaking the law could result in a prison sentence or fine of up to 20 thousand pounds. So think carefully. We can only tell you whats required, but its up to you what you do. Bitches are allowed 1-4 litters in the Uk. Stud fee is payable at mating. A free return mating is allowed if no puppies result from the first breeding., I highly advise you do a progesterone test on your bitch before mating. We do not refund money if your bitch doesn't fall pregnant. You will receive from us, a signed copy of the "Register a litter form, Kennel club", copies of his pedigree, copies of his health certificates, and a receipt for you to put through your accounts. As all litters have to be recorded for the HMRC. If you are on the books I advise an accountant, if you are self employed it is easy to do online assessments. But keep every single receipt possible to do with the breeding of your bitch.
Not all show wins are recorded.
