I can not believe how mature Brandi is for a dog so young. I remember when she was born and plonked into my hands with her mum eagerly licking her to stimulate her to life and she was wriggling around. I did not know at that moment it would be her who is staying with us. We do not like choosing a show dog until 7 weeks of age, but we had glimpses early on that Brandi would be the one staying with us. Brandi's mum is Ripley and Ripley has been instrumental in producing top quality puppies for us. Ripley is having her final litter now and if we think there is another girl who is outstanding we may keep her. We shall see in time.
Brandi's sister Ivy went to live with Diane and she qualified for Crufts at her first show which was Richmond champ show where she won her class. Ivy Is so pretty.
Brandi qualified for crufts 25, but we will not be going this year as every thing costs so much and we have a litter due, but also hotel away and to be honest I never like Crufts show inside the halls with hundreds of people. But I hope to qualify Brandi for Crufts 2026. As I may not have a litter that part of the year.
Brandi is something special and I am so lucky to have her. She not only won Best puppy in open shows and group places (EEK face plant a kiss on her chops), she is just easy to live with. She is something special. I can feel it in my bones.
We own her mum and dad, dad being Maverick. Maverick is not as keen on the show ring as mother Ripley.
Brandi seems puppyish in some ways as she loves to throw toys in the air and toss them around, and then chases around with them. She plays with Candy all the time. Brandi favourite toy is definitely a lion she has. Im looking at it now in the toy chest thinking hmm that needs a wash. Brandi can be a talker, and where ever she goes she likes a conversation first. Anyone that knows the Vizsla will know what Im talking about.
Brandi has a lovely russet gold colour coat, her limbs are straight, she has fantastic fore chest bone with long rib cage into a short loin, correct angulation at the back. Great top line. You can see from the photo above just how lovely she is. I have had so many compliments that I burst with pride. At Manchester champ show 2025 I had people pulling me aside to tell me how much they loved her which was lovely.
I can defo see Ripley in her body shape and side profile, but also her nature as well. We are lucky to have her.
Brandi has not just gone to shows she has gone to the beaches and woodlands with us. She is an easy dog to take anywhere. She travels well and she loves being with us.
