The moment Frooti was born I knew she was staying. Frooti went to training classes as a puppy to widen her social skills and I show trained her. But she wasn't one for the show ring, she enjoyed her home comforts too much. Frooti was always a balanced dog when she stands and she is stunning. This dog is the centre of my world, and I found breeding her quite hard as I know the risks involved. But she has had one litter and amazed me with her strength and absolutely fantastic motherly instincts. She knew exactly what to do and from the start of labour to the end was fantastic. The only Frenchie I had which self whelped. I think because she has a smaller head herself this is a huge benefit for breeding.
Frooti was extensively health checked and Im pleased to say clear of all known genetic disease we tested her for. We are now thinking of mating Frooti again to our boy Reggie and then we will spay her. I only ever wanted one litter really but we are going to breed her again to keep another puppy. We are very smitten with this wonderful breed and it does go to show you if you breed healthy Frenchies they can live a normal life as ours do.
Frooti has big privileges though as shes always been my best girl. She sleeps where she wants and even on our bed. Shes great in the house. She can be funny and clown like but she has grown up a lot and kinda watches the youngsters play now instead. But she has her moments of play. She also does the French roll when she is happy.
Her pedigree name was an Australian theme we had.
Frooti has a famous brother in the scent world, Mortimer who's one of the best French bulldog males ive ever seen and Im proud to of bred him. He is with out a doubt my favourite boy.
Frooti loves going on holidays with us, an easy dog to take in the caravan as she is so well behaved and knows the caravan routine. She is great to take out to pubs, or cafes. She loves walks in the forest or mountains and beaches.
Frooti her dad is a well known Champion. Im very much in love with my Frooti, and she is my ultimate favourite girl. Shush dont tell the others. My protector, my little sweet child. She is the best dog.

Reggie is happy go lucky in character. I had no plans on buying a Frenchie, but fate leant a hand as his breeder was at our local ring craft and she had several puppies that didnt have homes. She invited me around to come and see them. That was fatal! Reggie is the only dog that Darryl never knew was coming and I just brought him home. I got a little carrier and popped him in and I can still remember him sitting in there staring up and me and bottom wagging. He knew that his life was changing, and yet he just fitted in instantly. I remember saying to Darryl afterwards that he should let me have a Frenchie puppy every year as I love them so much.
Hes quite the character. He adores Frooti, and his play buddy is my large Bracco Geralt.
Reggie has a large comfy basket in our bedroom and he sleeps in it every night.
Reggie has just mated Frooti, so we will have mum and dad for you to see when you visit.
Reggie Is health tested but I am not interested in outside studs. Frenchies can get over used which does nothing good for their own health. Reggie is primarily our pet, and he is Darryls fun buddy. They sit together when Football is on, and eat snacks. Every morning Reggie and Darryl have a game and they both love it. It's pretty hilarious.
French bulldogs are such great little friends to have in the home.
Reggie was a dad for the first time when he sired Frootis litter. A natural mating which is unheard of in frenchies. But as our vet said people need to let their dogs do it naturally as you get a better litter. Dogs know when the time is right.
I was so impressed with the litter Im going to repeat the mating later in 2025. Probably winter time if we can.

This wonderful little lady has come from Frooti and Reggie and was born on Boxing Day 2023. Im sure over the next few months you will be able to follow her journey on instagram @silvestre.showdogs. Her name is Kiki, and she is the sweet little puppy you could wish to have. Simply adore her.
As a breed you simply can not better them for the loving smaller companion dog. Their loves is endless for their owners. I am really enjoying having her in the house, she's so tiny but has so much personality.
