Welcome to Maverick's page
Maverick came to us from Roughshoot Vizsla and I went and saw the litter with a friend.  We stood all the puppies and I just fell in love with him. I went home with no plans on owning him, but then Sharon got in touch two weeks later and offered him to me. So destiny threw us a curve ball and his little paws came home. 

Maverick is a stunning looking male Vizsla, his chiselled head piece and stance when he stands makes him a real beautiful dog.  His temperament is fantastic and he is a firm favourite to take out because he sits nicely at the pub tables, and he knows when to lay down. He enjoys his walks out, and strangers dogs do not phase him.  He gets so excited when I pick up the leads and say who's coming then? 

Maverick has been shown and won his UK stud book number.  We retired him shortly after because he took a dislike to the ring. He is a gentle dog and often gentle dogs find it over whelming. I do hope however to bring him back after a nice rest and try again because he is simply too good. 

Maverick has been extensively health tested and passed all his tests and does not carry anything ive tested him for. He has a low coi, which means he is not inbred.  He is the ideal match for my own girls and I hope he will continue to sire beautiful puppies here in the future.   I have been so thrilled with his offspring as in looks they are just stunning. I have kept one puppy so far out of Maverick a girl called Silvestre Fire and Desire and Im so pleased with her. 

Maverick has working lines in him as well as show lines. One of his children is now doing field trial training and we look forward to hearing how she gets on in the future.  

I am hoping to repeat the mating between Maverick and Birdie this year 2025, so watch out for this litter.  Also he will sire Lane when she comes into season.  

Maverick has won in France and Belgium, and I really must get him back out again.
