ABOUT PEPPER
Pepper is a medium sized Hungarian Vizsla, with a good rich russet gold coat. She belongs to Joshua our son, who is extremely knowledgable about dogs and breeding. Both Joshua and his fiancee Darcy have bred the occasional litter.
Pepper has had one litter in early 2022, and she is now going to have her second litter to Maverick. She is due in season late 2023 and this is the ideal time for her to have her second litter. As both of them are on hand as their work takes them away from home for weeks at a time. Winter times they are home. So they can commit to the puppies 100 percent.
Although it's not my litter I give lifetime support for any owner who has a puppy from one of Joshua's girls. So you can what's app me during the dogs lifetime or you can join our chat group on Facebook.
Josh also owns Peppers mum who's 9 years old and obviously retired at that age. Izzy is a fit and healthy 9 year old. He also owns Letty a Bracco which means they own 4 dogs in total.
Joshua now has a home beside ours, so we are both helping each other. You're welcome to contact me through the website or mobile and I can always speak to you.
Darcy owns a working black Labrador so you may see him on some photos he takes. All the dogs get along fantastic together and Dodge and Geralt have a bit of a love affair. Dodge loves my dogs. I gave Joshua an interest in our affix years ago which means he can use this affix in front of any puppy name, Joshua is on our breeding license as it's all one property.
So let's learn little bit about pepper. Pepper is not tall, and she is middle of the breed standard range for bitches, so not a big dog. But she is well boned as all our bitches are. We don't want weedy slight dogs full of health issues because of it. They should be strong, agile dogs. She has an excellent front, as some Vizsla have poor fronts. You need to see a prominent fore chest bone at the front, and chest must reach elbows. Some dogs have a hollow in the front which is a weakness. Tango her father threw fantastic fronts in his offspring and this is now continuing in their offspring. Pepper would have made a fab show dog, but when she was younger we had covid epidemic so she missed a lot of show training.
Pepper is full of fun and games, and loves playing ball. She also has a kong frisbee. She is great fun to take anywhere as she lives for the moment. Pepper was similar age to my Bracco Yennefer and they lived a lot together whilst Joshua was out working. I look after his dogs every day whilst he is busy. Yenna and Pepper have a special bond.
Pepper is quite greedy and would eat way too much food, so she is constantly on the right amount of food for her. She is looking the best she has ever looked at the moment. She loves treats and has a treat every single morning be it a raw meaty bone, or large beef skin. She is not allowed quick eating treats as they would be gone in seconds.
Pepper is a very kind dog, and doesnt have a nasty bone in her body, she is excellent to take and mix with strange dogs, and is a happy go lucky kind of dog.
From her first litter we are in contact with the owners and everyone is happy with their dogs. I think mating her to maverick this time will really produce some superb puppies. I am thinking of having one from his litter as I have just let go a puppy which I was going to keep, but the timing may be better for one from Pepper.
