A huge change in animal welfare and breeding laws is coming in October 2018.
Today was Southern counties championship show in Newbury and I went with just one dog this time. It was a very hot day today. Luckily in the tents it was much cooler.
Karaszy’s Falco Peregrinnus at Silvestre went in Open class and was 3rd place. He was behind the CC winner and RCC winner who was 1st, 2nd and we were third. Well done to those winners with super dogs. A Chilli son was 3rd place in Post Graduate class. His name is Wallaroo All that Jazz and he has 3 RCC’s already. Silvestre Ace was in Open class and was VHC which is 5th place. In champion ship shows their are only 5 places on offer called, 1st, 2nd, 3rd as these are the crufts qualifying places, then reserve 4th, VHC very highly commended 5th. A Tango son was 2nd in junior bred by Mrs C Sutherland and owned by Ian Credland, called Carnlochan Jack Frost. Of course I brought the dogs some toys, a new Kola bear and a horse which neighs and I’m sure I will regret hearing this in the middle of the night. |
