Well what can I say about our puppies, except wow I nearly had a heart attack when Yennefer went into labour and just kept delivering puppies into my hands.  She has had one of the largest litters the UK has seen in this breed. Yes she's tired and so am I !!  Im totally pooped.  I have not got around to calling back people for Vizsla puppies as Ive not had the time.  Thank goodness Christmas is coming with more hands on deck to help and hopefully I can rest up alittle more.  

We have a lovely selection of puppies available so just get in contact if you would like to reserve one.  This litter of course had to be our first Witcher themed litter.  We have just registered them with the Kennel club.   For example a girl we are keeping is called Silvestre is a beast.  I do love phrases, but I couldn't think of too many themed phrases so I ended up with some character names such as Vesemir and Dandelion.   I cant wait to see these puppies at 6 weeks although Im sure I will be totally knackered.  Ive had loads of support from the bracco community and I wish to thank them all. 

I have other news but Ill wait for another day when my eye lids aren't drooping as I sit here.  Its sniffing news from the Silvestre sniffing team.

Finally today I got my act together and put Sassy's list in order. I have had literally a difficult few weeks. My mother was poorly and has taken up a lot of my spare time. In fact I have had no spare time at all, and been working to 11pm every evening this week trying to catch up with everything. I also was poorly and have had to have more blood tests for vitamin deficiencies. So I am not avoiding anyone, i am just over stretched.  I am doing everything in my power to keep mum at home with us, rather than go to a care home. 

Parcels got sent by Fedex today to various people with dog treats and tissue bedding.  Let me know if anyone is thinking of a treat box before Christmas and you have not ordered yet.  As it takes a bit of time to sort out.  I should have an account with Fed ex by next week, as so far Ive had to used someone else account to get things sent.  I always used Royal mail but I dont have time to get to post office as its 7 miles away approx. So I am now getting things picked up and sent. 

To breeders who want tissue bedding I can now send up 1 bale for £6-50 per bale. If you order more then courier costs come down alittle.  Bales are £15 but they will be going up in January as prices have gone up for wholesale tissue bedding. I have enough in stock at the moment but need to order January. 

Everyone who is on the Sassy waiting list was emailed today, if you find you are missing an email ask again because a few hotmail accounts I've noticed.  For some reason hotmail accounts always seem to spam attachments in an email.

Yennefers waiting list is growing now with superb people who have asked for one. Im so excited I cant tell you. She is due soon. A girl is staying with us if she has one.  We are really looking forward to such an exciting combination of parents. 

Then we have Christmas smack bang in the middle of our litters.  This is the very first time we have whelped during this time puppies in 27 years of breeding.  But we have all hands on deck, our vet is waiting for our call if we need them. 

I think Im almost done for this week, which is amazing.  I also had 12 hours of paperwork to suddenly get over to the Kennel club this week for a visit with the assured breeder team in January.  You just wouldn't think these days that selling a dog would mean spreadsheets, and copies of everything. But yes it does.

Confirmed by ultra sound we can confirm Sassy is pregnant, expecting 6 puppies. Tango is the father.

Great to receive Tango's elbow scores this week from the UK BVA and he is 0:0

Some of our results we have had done in Australia and some here.  Why ? The Australian scheme is identical in the way the grade as to the UK.  But during Covid times our UK BVA stopped working and the back log got ridiculous.  Australia have a 48 hour turn around with results.  But now the UK is a four week turn around we have gone back to the UK.  


​We are just waiting now for some DNA results to come in on three dogs, which we hope will be this week.   Always going one step further to ensure our dogs come as healthy as possible.
