​If you know you do not want a puppy do not go through the process of enquiring,  I am dealing with a lot at the moment and it's unfair to say you want a puppy when you don't.   So only enquire if you really want one.  Everyone thinks they are not time wasters, but the meaning of time waster is someone who takes your time with no intention of having something.  I think you forget we are a family, and one that is dealing with a lot at the moment.  We welcome genuine enquiries.

It is not often I can say we have puppies available as they are pre booked, but when Roux shot out a massive 13 puppies we then had places available.  We know with Christmas coming up that is a time for family.  But we welcome any text message or what's app message and we will reply.  Except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.  Please text at sensible hours not before 10.30am as I am out with the dogs until then each day. Regardless of Christmas dogs are a lifetime commitment.  We never sell Christmas presents and the whole family must be on board wanting a puppy.

We have varied homes already, two show homes, one working home, and active homes.  We primarily look for pet homes that will cherish and love our darlings for their lifetime.  We have ongoing support through our group, or you can what's app me any time.  Day or night I reply unless in another country.  We are here for you!


Several enquires this week which have turned out to be unsuitable and I think after talking to me they can see this.  I could easily sell puppies but I want to make sure you know what your taking on as the last thing we want to do is sell a puppy which ends up in rescue.  The Vizsla puppy is not an easy puppy, and with the experience I have I can easily say this.  But with guidance and good training they can become the best dog you'll ever own in your lifetime.   

Our puppies are by far more socialised than a lot of puppies we see for sale.  They are home reared and live in our dog room which is a focal part of our house.  They are already listening to sounds and being handled well.  Eyes and ears now open and now tasting weaning food.  Check out instagram for latest photos and videos.  @silvestre.showdogs


Rachel 

Our last show of 2022 went off with a bang.  Indie went to Brussells dog show with handler Rachel and whilst he was there he won 8 CAC, 1 CACIB, 1 RCACIB, Belgium winner title. 
This means we can now claim his Belgium show champion certificate, so all forms have been scanned and sent off to the belgium kennel club and we will await their response. 

Indie is the happiest dog that ever lived and a joy to live with.

What you need to know about contacting me.   Do not contact me before 10.30am each day, and text me first. We can arrange a call at some point that day.  I do NOT do evening calls.
Why do I not do evening calls? For many reasons, but the main one is health and I get extremely fatigued with my illness and evenings I have a job to see.  I have brain fog which causes visual disturbances when tired.   Being a dog breeder you are looking after animals all day and night.  They're are few hours to dedicate to telephone calls. Thats if you have welfare of your dogs at heart.  We do not employ staff, some do but they're is not enough money in our breeding to employ anyone.

I hope to get another tik Tok video tomorrow Ill star eon instagram and also post photos to 10 owners who have reserved a puppy already.   Roux had a big litter of puppies which surprised us.  Considering she had 6 puppies in her first litter this litter was a shock.  Goose must be a very fertile stud dog. 

The last few weeks I have been completing more health tests for our dogs, some were DNA tests, some eye tests with the BVA vet and hip and elbow scoring done.

Very pleased that the whole Silvestre breeding team were eye tested clear again for another year.
Maverick completed all the DNA tests and is clear.  Lane finally completed her last DNA test and clear.  Maverick completed his elbow and hip scoring.

Now you won't find most of our health tests we have done online anywhere as we now send our hips and elbows to Australia.  Our kennel club accept these tests but they are not published.  They only publish UK bva health tests. The reason. why most of us have decided to use Australia is quickness. Its a 48 hour turn around, where as the UK system is weeks to months before any of us see a result. 

Every single health tests we have done is printed off the laboratory results, the X-ray results, the eye testing results and I pop into a large folder.  These can be viewed when people visit us.  Copies are only given to those people who wish to show their dogs from us with the potential to breed.  

I now have to complete Birdies DNA tests.  

Our younger team who will not be bred until 2024 will under go all the relevant health tests during 2023.
